The wait is over, but in a sense, it may be just beginning. Axl Rose has confirmed the existence of two new Guns N’ Roses albums: A sequel of sorts to 2008’s Chinese Democracy and a remix album.
Turns out, Axl doesn’t think the honor is deserved, but does have a long list of singers he would rather listen to than himself.
Last night (May 21), Axl Rose responded to an online report that he was considering putting an end to his longtime band, Guns N’ Roses.
We’ve gotten used to a long wait between Guns N’ Roses albums, but it seems the next one could come as early as next year.
Guns bassist has temporarily reunited with his former band, the Replacements.
There’s been no official announcement but Joe Perry and Slash both spilled the beans on Twitter.
The band has announced a brief residency at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Tickets for their next Sin City residency go on sale February 21.
Guns N’ Roses, Avenged Sevenfold and Kid Rock will headline this year’s Rock on The Range festival, taking place May 16-18 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
