We probably wouldn’t be so concerned with the ongoing Tom Petty comments saga, but the fact that we share the building with KMPS, means we’re getting double the dose. Today we were greeted with the news that country singer Jake Owen is the latest “artist” to take issue with Petty’s comments (from what had to have been two weeks ago).
Petty recently called current country music “bad rock with a fiddle.” Country songwriting vet Stapleton challenges the rock superstar to ‘put [his] money where [his] mouth is in a tangible way.’
