Having just published his tell-all Autobiography, the Boy With the Pen in His Hand is now eyeing other literary endeavors, as well as a new solo album.
Fans in Sweden were treated to Europe’s only Autobiography book signing event, with over 500 fans from around the world lining up (some for more than 30 hours) for the author to pen his signature in a copy.
Under the heading “The World Won’t Listen” (cribbed from the title of a 1987 Smiths compilation album), first in his sights is Melissa Bachman, who recently sparked outrage after posting a photo with a male lion she killed on a hunt in South Africa.
In an interview with Brooklyn Vegan, Marr talked about the likelihood of putting pen to paper and telling his side of the Smiths storied history. Turns out it’s pretty much a done deal.
