Metallica Blast ‘Enter Sandman’ in a Grocery Store

By Amanda Wicks

Forget about muzak. When Metallica goes grocery shopping they want the real deal, and they brought it in a big way during an excursion in Hollywood yesterday (December 15th).

TMZ‘s cameras caught the band rocking out to “Enter Sandman,” at a grocery store. Metallica had a big speaker in their cart (what else) and were parked in front of the deli to see if the fan working the counter knew the lyrics. Of course he did, much to the band’s excitement. He also threw in a few headbangs for good measure.

“Our job is done,” James Hetfield said as the band dispersed after the bit.

It was all part of Billy Eichner’s streetwise game show Billy on the Street, and Eichner himself couldn’t help but laugh as he walked away. What a way to shop.
