10.11 Today On Jack: Bennett On ‘Locker Room Talk’ – Prince’s Ashes – Register To Vote In Person Now

Seahawk Michael Bennett talked to the press yesterday – about Donald Trump excusing his behavior on that bus with Billy Bush as “locker room talk.” Bennett said, “As a parent of (three) daughters I felt like … I was irate. ‘Locker-room talk’? I don’t even know if that’s ‘locker-room talk,’ though,”“That was kind of crazy to be talking about a woman like that.  Bennett also said of Trump: “He’s not in a violent sport. So I don’t know if he really knows what locker room talk is. It’s not that, I can tell you that.”  Full story at The News Tribune.

Today’s surf report – no, that’s not a new Jack thing… but, off the coast of oregon at Gold Beach, three local surfers spotted 2 boaters in the water clinging to their capsized vessel. They rescued them and swam them back to shore on their surfboards.  Full Story at KOMO News.  And, a Portland man is being hospitalized, after he was bitten by a shark while surfing near Indian Beach at Ecola State Park.  Officials say 29-year-old Joseph Tanner suffered bites to his thigh and lower leg while surfing around four o’clock yesterday afternoon.  Tanner, who is a registered nurse, was stabilized at the scene and airlifted to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland.  Tanner suffered no major artery damage and is expected to keep his leg.

Prince’s ashes are on display at his Paisley Park property in Minnesota.  The urn, which was designed by his sister and nephew, is shaped like a miniature Paisley Park.  It’s on display in the atrium of the complex, which began allowing fans in for tours last week.  The exhibit also features instruments, props from the Purple Rain movie, outfits and a thousand pairs of shoes.

Registering To Vote On-Line Is Over, But You Still Can In Person (Until Halloween)
