The OUTRAGE: Seattle Is #2 To Portland When It Comes To Coffee

Ahead of National Coffee Day tomorrow, the personal-finance website WalletHub took a close look at 2016’s Best Cities for Coffee Lovers.

To determine the best cities for partaking in America’s coffee culture, WalletHub’s number crunchers compared the 100 largest cities across 12 key metrics, ranging from “number of coffee shops, coffee houses and cafés per capita” to “average price of a coffee pack.”

The Coffee Scene in Seattle (1=Best, 50=Avg.):

  • 1st – Number of Affordable Coffee Shops, Coffee Houses and Cafés Rated 4.5+ Stars per Capita
  • 1st – Number of Coffee Shops, Coffee Houses and Cafés Per Capita
  • 1st – Number of Coffee & Tea Manufacturers per Capita
  • 42nd – Number of Donut Shops per Capita
  • 11th – Percentage of Households that Own Coffee Makers

And we hate to see this: (They obviously forgot to give points for civic pride.)
