Habitat For Humanity Seattle-King County just dedicated nine new homes to families in their program. They received their house keys and a certificate of completion for the 500 hours of “sweat equity” they do with Habitat, instead of a down payment.
This includes educational classes like financial management, home maintenance, and budgeting. This 9 plex, in Renton, is the latest addition to that community, bringing our total homes there to 23.
Two of these families are Veterans and Habitat is proud to be starting construction of nine new homes specifically for Veterans now in the town of Pacific, WA.
Their Home Repair Program continues work in Federal Way, White Center, Renton, and the Rainier Valley.
