8.1 Thru 8.8 B-25 Bomber At Paine Field

You are invited to fly on one of the most famous war planes of all time – the B-25 Bomber “Maid in the Shade.”

An authentically restored aircraft will be on public exhibition at the Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field in Everett, WA, starting August 2, 2016, and is part of the Flying Legends of Victory Tour conducted by Commemorative Air Force Airbase Arizona (CAF Airbase Arizona) based in Mesa.

Maid in the Shade was flown during World War II and is one of 34 WWII aircraft of its type still flying in the world.  It is maintained and operated by volunteer crews of the CAF Airbase Arizona as a flying museum giving up-close history lessons as a tribute to all those who have served their country.
