It’s hard to put into words how big of a game Sunday’s win for the Seahawks was. Unbelievable, once in a lifetime, miraculous — these descriptions all feel like understatements. We know Seattle’s determination in the final minutes of the game was unmatched and will go down in NFL history. But who helped the Seahawks more secure the win: God or the 12th Man?
The case for God: Russell Wilson, who made the comeback possible, credited faith as the key to the victory sayingthe Seahawks kept “believing.”
“There was no doubt,” Wilson said after the game. God’s prepared our team too.” Additionally, hours before the game, Wilson tweeted: “All my hope is in You Jesus! You are my anchor that is never shaken!”

After the New England Patriots beat the Indianapolis Colts, God tweeted his expectations for the big game:
The case for the 12th Man: Despite the fact nearly a quarter of those in attendance left before the end of the game, the 12th Man spirit was high as normal.
