New Jersey Governor Chris Christie doesn’t care what you think.
And don’t mess with the man over his love of Bruce Springsteen.
However, one woman feels that Christie — whose politics often run in direct contrast to Springsteen’s — should not play the Jersey legend’s music at his events.
NJ.com reports that Sandy Booket, attending a town hall meeting hosted by the governor in Long Branch, N.J., questioned why Christie had Springsteen’s music playing on the speakers ahead of his arrival. She mentioned that she thought Springsteen asked Christie to stop playing his music.
“You’re wrong,” Christie responded, “Bruce has never asked me to do that!”
He added, “I know Bruce and I’ve spoken to Bruce and you’re wrong!”
