You’ve got a job, a car that works most of the time and access to your friend’s HBO GO account — but you know what’s still missing from your life?
A 6-inch figurine of Seattle rapper Macklemore.
Thankfully, Thursday June 12th is Macklemore Bobblehead Night at Safeco Field, and the first 30,000 fans through the gates will receive their very own bobblehead (fake witch’s nose and wig not included).
While the Seattle Mariners will take on the New York Yankees that evening, Macklemore and Mariners’ pitcher Felix Hernandez have been working on taking on bullying for quite some time with their Change The Game anti-bullying campaign. Ten students who signed up to stand against bullying will get to meet the two Seattle stars before the game.
Gates will open at 5:10 p.m. (fans are encouraged to arrive early if they want a bobblehead).
