YouTube Star Might Get A TON Of Cash

Do you guys remember this guy?

Turns out, he’s about to get a quarter of a million dollars.

Well, almost. According to Huffington Post Canada,  the man — who was trying to take a selfie when he was kicked in the head by a conductor’s foot– is set to make an anywhere from $30,000 to $250,000 from his YouTube channel.

Despite rumors swirling that this was all a hoax (and who really cares, because it’s hilarious) the video has been watched more than 22 million times on YouTube. The star of the video, Jared Frank, reportedly just signed with a California-based management company. According to CBC News, Frank will earn anywhere from $2 to $16 per 1,000 views, from which he will receive a near 70 percent share.

In other news: people are flocking to the streets to film themselves getting hit by things.
