JACK was browsing the internet for a part-time gig — playing a bunch of music on the airwaves doesn’t pay that much, you know. Anyway, JACK saw that Seattle’s infamous record label Sub Pop is hiring!
…but, don’t think you’ll be in charge of discovering new bands or anything.
The label is opening a retail shop at Sea-Tac Airport this spring. And to do so, the company needs a retail store manager. Candidates must be familiar with the bands on the label, have a rough understanding of the regional music landscape, how to score free Sbarro pizza slices, and knowledge of the city of Seattle. Ok, the pizza part isn’t true, but the rest is.
