We think we have found the studliest researcher in the world. The man in this video is Wes Livingston, a scientist working on a moose study with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
In this video, he is doing a routine release of a calf moose, which is still quite big and still has very sharp hooves, when all hell breaks lose.
Each time the moose comes at him, he remains calm and takes the moose’s punishment with a ton of grace and guts.
“First time I’ve ever gotten beaten up by a baby moose,” Livingston can be heard saying after the moose charged him twice. Which begs the question, has he been beaten up by an adult moose? Our hats are off to you, Wes. Hope you’re okay.
