Employees at a far away junk yard in the northern town of Ferndale, Washington, got their Super Bowl jollies when they ripped apart a Ford Bronco truck with the metal shears of a Seahawk.
When they saw that ’85 Bronco in the scrap yard, they were inspired. And when they painted the old truck, they took their time and did a pretty good job. Orange over most of the truck with a blue side panel and finally, Denver’s logo.
Then they set to work on their huge metal shears that are used to rip cars apart. (Now that sounds like a fun job.) The gripping claws of the machine look just like a hawk’s talons (in blue and green of course), and the shears look just like the menacing beak of the Seahawks logo.
According to the Bellingham Herald, the crew then went to town and ravaged that poor Ford Bronco. HA! “Scrap-It” Crane operator Herb Parks says it was very satisfying and made him feel like he was part of the team.
