Did you know that Russell Wilson was drafted back in December by the Texas Rangers? Yep. And the Rangers knew that he probably wouldn’t play, but wanted a guy like him to be around their young players during spring training.

So now, with Russell at the top of the football charts, Topps baseball cards says it will produce a “limited edition” card featuring the Seattle QB this spring.  The card will be available as part of Topps’ Bowman series beginning April 30th.   Wilson was previously drafted by the Colorado Rockies and Baltimore Orioles, and played Single-A ball in parts of the 2010 and 2011 seasons. We call that an “All-around Stud!” Go Hawks!
