Anchorman Recreates The Best Sports Calls Ever [Video]

Yes, we know, this is one of the biggest, longest, media blitzes for a movie in a long time. First the Dodge Ram trucks, then co-anchoring an actual news cast in North Dakota, Ron Burgundy -Anchorman, is a media whore. But at least the man behind the ugly suit is over-the-top talented.

Here Will Ferrell jumped on “The Dan Patrick Show,” and showed off his play-by-play talents, recreating some of the great sports calls in history: Jack Buck’s famous call of Kirk Gibson’s home run against Dennis Eckersley at Dodger Stadium in Game 1 of the World Series in 1988, Dan Davis calling Doug Flutie’s Hail Mary pass in Boston College’s last second win over Miami in 1984, and Al Michaels on the final minute of the Miracle on Ice.

Way to go, Will! Soon, this will be all over when his damn movie opens on Dec. 18. Better be damn funny, man.
