For those of you doing it now, do it locally – we’re talking about Holiday shopping!

Go for locally made chocolates, scarves, and, make sure you get your music from your local record store. It’s good for the local economy and great for our environment because gas isn’t used for shipping stuff in from other countries. Look for the Made In The USA label and you won’t be supporting potentially bad labor practices in some nations.
As far as chocolate and candy shopping goes, a trip to Tacoma to the Almond Roca factory is worthwhile. Boehm’s and Fran’s Chocolates are great shopping adventures, too.

Feel free to leave a comment below about a local company that you dig!
