Let’s clean our dirty beaches!  JACK FM will be at Marination Ma Kai on Alki Saturday September 21st with Puget Soundkeeper Alliance celebrating  International Coastal Cleanup Day.  Register to volunteer and you could win a pair of tickets to see Jack Johnson October 15th or a pair of handmade local western cedar Adirondack chairs from Don Willis Furniture.  Over 600,000 volunteers dedicate their time each year to clean up their dirty beaches, now it’s your turn to help out.  Can’t make it to Marination Ma Kai?  There are 14 locations to choose from, check out all the locations HERE.  The three largest clean ups in Seattle will take place at Centennial/Myrtle Edwards Park, Alki Beach Park, and Blake Island. Once trash is collected it’s weighed and recorded, the Ocean Conservancy then creates a report reflecting what is being tossed into our oceans.  It’s our job to keep our beaches clean so register HERE today!
