In Connecticut’s “Advocate, Iommi says it “would be very nice” to make a follow up album, but admits he “can’t commit to doing another two years or anything like that” because of his health. Iommi continutes to undergo cancer treatments, and has to “play it as it comes now.”
Black Sabbath launched their hefty (and most-likely exhausting for our aging gents) world tour in New Zealand this past April and is currently on the North American leg of the trek, which wraps up in early September. They hit The Gorge on August 24th. If you think that’s a long tour, it gets even heavier as they head to South America in October and finish the year with a European tour that kicks off in November.
Despite his health issues, Tony says he’s “really enjoying” the tour and reviews have been good. He adds that “if the rest of the year goes well” they’ll “look at it and see if it’s possible to do another album.”
