Bird Poop Facial? No, Thank You
The things some people do in the name of beauty…
A New York spa is smearing bird poop on people’s faces, charging them $180 for it, and telling them it’s good for their skin. Well, there’s rice bran in there, too. Apparently it’s a traditional Japanese treatment that’s supposed to exfoliate and keep the skin smooth. In an effort to make the facial seem more fancy, it’s being called a ‘Geisha Facial’ at the spa.
To answer your next question, it supposedly smells like toasted rice. And don’t worry, they don’t use poop from just any old bird. The elite excrement comes specifically from nightingales, if that makes you feel any better.
