It was just through a string of good luck that I met Levi and Stephanie Ware of Seattle. I like to snoop around for local groups doing amazing things in our community, and I found them on-line through their website, Melodic Caring Project.

The first thing I see is  Streaming LIVE Concerts to Hospitalized Kids & Teens. I looked no further and had them come in for an interview.

Levi and Stephanie are busy lining up local and national music acts who will let the Ware’s stream video live before, during and after the band’s gig.  On the average, 9 hospitalized kids are watching, and the musicians send out messages to them throughout the night. It’s an amazing thing. In our interview, Levi talks about the effects of these live and personalized shows on the kids health, and what you and I can do to help the Wares carry on their good work. Check out some of the streamed shows at their website here.

Listen to Levi talk with me, AND, play his great song on his uke.
