Who’s Wearing A “Man-Fur Coat?”
Only in Europe would a real ‘hair shirt’ be developed. The European dairy company Arla is selling a fur coat crafted out of male chest hair.
It’s part of their campaign to promote their male-targeted chocolate milk Wing-Co. Arla hopes the coat encourages men to readopt “the values of assured ‘men’s men’ from yesteryear,” who would “be proud of their abundant manliness.”
Each coat is made of around one-million individual hairs and takes about 200 hours to make.
According to DigitalSpy.com, the limited edition garment will set prospective buyers back more than $3800.
