It’s been only a year, but Bruce Springsteen says a new album is in the works.
The Boss tells Ultimate Classic Rock he has “a lot of material” for his follow up to 2012’s “Wrecking Ball.”
“I have stuff I’m working on that I’m very happy about,” Springsteen said in the interview, which took place backstage at a concert the Boss was performing in Milan earlier this month. “I hate to say, because I don’t like to be wrong. But I have a lot of material. I still feel like I’m in the middle of the well.”
Entering into the studio with Bruce, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who was filling in for Steven Van Zandt.
Timing of the release is not confirmed, but Springsteen implies that he’ll be returning to the studio once the band wraps up their European tour in late July.
