Okay, so everyone liked watching movies in school, right? Sure. So apparently the FBI decided it would be cool to show an episode of the comedy show “Portlandia” in one of its classes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, an instructor at the FBI academy asked the show’s producers for permission to use a clip that spoofs recycling from the “Sanitation Twins” episode. It was shown in the class where students learn about terrorism, espionage and IP theft. Um, what? The FBI gave no specifics on why that episode was chosen. They know the is just supposed to be funny, right?

“Maybe they’re just making fun of us?” co-star Carrie Brownstein suggested to The Hollywood Reporter.

Or maybe the FBI is getting really serious about people who don’t separate their recyclables.
