Okay, we may have lured you into this article under false pretenses. We all know that Steven Tyler and band have been living the clean life for many years, but, Tyler says he’s still able to find ways to keep his ‘bad-boy’ title. The Aerosmith frontman explained on last night’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” that one such opportunity presented itself during the band’s recent tour stop in Singapore. (It’s at 2:20 – where he talks about sneaking illegal substances into Thailand.)
Tyler and bandmates are pretty mellow these days, he says they spend their off-stage time seeing the sites. (Shocking!) With Ferguson, Tyler shared pictures of this recent trip through Thailand, including an 80-year-old elephant (slightly older than Steven) and a group of endangered tigers raised by local monks.
Aerosmith has a couple of U.S. gigs lined up for the summer, but fans can also hear Tyler in movie theaters across the country. He plays a glowworm named Nim Galuu in the new animated film “Epic.”
