Bill Hader is leaving Saturday Night Live after a great eight-year run. No doubt there will be another send-off much like the one Kristen Wiig got when she left last year. Hader’s last night is this weekend’s season finale.
Hader is best known for his droll impressions of Al Pacino, Vincent Price, James Carville, and Dateline NBC’s Keith Morrison.
Many know him as Stefon, the clubkid “Weekend Update” correspondent. When we spoke to SNL’s weekend anchor Seth Meyers earlier this year, he said that Hader, when doing Stefon with Meyers, was not always prepared for what lines were coming his way, since one writer liked to throw new material at Hader, live, during the actual show.
Hader’s films include “Superbad,” ”Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” ”Knocked Up” and “Pineapple Express.”
