Do you have a LinkedIn account? If you do and you worked as a prostitute, don’t put it in your profile.

According to Business Insider, the social media network (for working professionals) tweaked its privacy policy in that you cannot create profiles or provide content that promotes escort services or prostitution. What gives, man?!

Evidently, prostitution became prominent enough on LinkedIn that it needed to be addressed. Prostitution has been a skill for which you can get endorsed for. For example, us digital goons for JACK Seattle could be endorsed for journalism, digital media production, etc…while others are getting endorsed for- (clears throat) … uh. Next paragraph!

However, according to Business Insider, many of the self-identified experts on prostitution work in law enforcement or religious ministries, suggesting their experience is with catching offenders or helping out with their recovery — not necessarily offering services.

The tricky part with this new rule is several European countries allow prostitution.
