James Taylor Mourns Musically For Fallen M-I-T Officer

James Taylor is among the many celebrating the life of M-I-T police officer Sean Collier.  Taylor performed at a memorial yesterday for the 26-year-old officer whose life was cut short last week – a suspected casualty of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.  The singer-songwriter delivered moving renditions of his songs “Shower The People” and “The Water Is Wide.” 

The memorial, held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, also included remarks from Vice President Joe Biden who galvanized the mourners in saying the U.S. would never be intimidated by terrorists. Biden also saluted the bravery of all law enforcement officers every time they walk out the door to go to work.

Investigators believe the Boston Marathon bombing suspects killed Collier for his gun last week.  He was ambushed while sitting in his police car.
