Pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath is making a rare appearance on the small screen May 15 to perform a new song on the finale of CBS’ CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

The episode, called “Dante’s Inferno,” features members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler sharing a scene with D.B. Russell, Ted Danson’s character. According to the show, Black Sabbath will launch into the song “End of the Beginning,” a track from their upcoming album 13, due out June 11.

“When we first heard that Black Sabbath was interested in premiering a song on CSI, we were all really excited,” said Executive Producer Don McGill. “And seeing as the album is titled 13 and this is the finale of CSI‘s Season 13, it seemed like the perfect match.”

The drummer in the promo photo provided by CBS does not appear to be Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave), who plays on 13.
