Drunken Couples Fireworks Generate ‘Shots Fired’ Calls On Queen Anne

Seattle police say fireworks set off by an intoxicated couple early yesterday morning prompted nearly 50 ‘shots fired’ calls from Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. Callers reported shots and a woman crying and people running near the 400 block of Republican Street. “The Seattle Times” says police found a couple who said they’d been shooting each other with Roman candles. The woman said she’d been laughing, not crying. Police want the couple charged with misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
