New Cookbook Pays Tribute To The Beatles
The Beatles are receiving a unique literary salute. To honor the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Fab Four’s arrival in the U.S., author Lanea Stagg has created “Recipe Records: A Culinary Tribute to The Beatles.”
Stagg’s cookbook includes the instructions to make dishes with such Beatles-inspired names as “I Should’ve Known Butter,” “Strawberry Pie Forever,” “Let It Brie,” “Stuffed Sgt. Peppers,” and “Ob-La-Di Ob-La Slaw.” In addition to the recipes, which she’s collected from family members and friends over the years, the book also includes music stories, trivia, anecdotes, and a “suggested song list.”
“A Culinary Tribute to The Beatles” is the third offering in the “Recipe Records” series, which Stagg created with Maggie McHugh. Stagg and McHugh’s collaborative books include “Recipe Records” and “Recipe Records: The ’60s Edition.” Details on the cookbooks are available at RecipeRecords.webs.com.
