First, The Harbaughs – John and Jim, are brothers, and the coaches! John Harbaugh, coach of the Baltimore Ravens, and his younger brother, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, are the first pair of brothers in NFL history to serve as head coaches. Next, Ray Lewis: He’ll retire from the Ravens after this game. The commentators and the crowd will go nuts for him, since he’s the team’s biggest cheerleader, but…
Lewis gained notoriety for his involvement in a January 2000 fight that resulted in an indictment on murder and aggravated-assault charges. In a plea agreement he plead guilty to obstruction of justice in exchange for testimony against two other defendants. Drafted by the Ravens in 1996, he has played his entire career for the team, and is the last player remaining from the Ravens’ inaugural season.
