(AP) — The NFL is socking it to Super Bowl bound Frank Gore. The 49ers running back says he’ll pay closer attention to his socks for the big game. He was fined $10,500 by the NFL for sagging socks during Sunday’s NFC championship game at Atlanta. It’s the second time he was fined this season. While Gore’s appearance might have been lacking, his performance was anything but. Gore ran for two touchdowns during the Niners’ 28-24 comeback victory over the Falcons.
