The Tom Petty Fest has become a tradition in New York. For years, the Petty Fest has seen a number of big-name artists, including Norah Jones, The Black Keys and Kings Of Leon performing Petty’s classic songs. This year, it returns on October 24the at Webster Hall, but if you’re on the west coast, the first-ever Petty Fest L.A. will be held at the El Rey Theatre on November 14 and 15.
New York’s show will feature Karen Elson, Jesse Malin, photographer Danny Clinch (backed by the Tangiers Blues Band) and actor Justin Long (the “Mac” of the “Mac Vs. PC” ads). L.A.’s lineup, meanwhile, will include Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Sarah Silverman, Harper Simon and Bijou Phillips.
