John Lennon’s murderer, Mark David Chapman, could go before the parole board this week. This will be his seventh time going before the board.
Chapman shot and killed Lennon in front of Lennon and Yoko Ono’s New York City apartment in 1980. In 1981 he was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.
