Jersey Shore’s Snooki Sued For $7-Million Over Licensing Deal
Jersey Shore’s Snooki is used to fighting, but maybe not in court. The pint-sized diva has been sued for $7-million over a licensing deal. The New York Post reports Snooki “partnered with SRG to launch a litany of Snooki-related merchandise last year, but she filed suit in October to end her contract with the company alleging it didn’t fulfill its obligations to land her enough dough or branding partnerships.” Now SRG has filed a counter suit with a host of allegations about Snooki.
The Post reports the $7 million counterclaim against Snooki includes her management company, Neon Entertainment. “The suit says Snooki sabotaged the deal by negotiating with brands behind SRG’s back, and dragging her platformed heels on the deals SRG brought her, including Snooki-styled school supplies, watches, shoes and lingerie.” Attorney Robert J. Hantman told US Weekly “Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court.”
We’ll just have to live without Snooki school supplies, watches, shoes and lingerie until the suit is settled. Here’s a look at a report on the dispute:
