With [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Van Halen[/lastfm], the rumor mill never rests.
Though there has been nothing official from the band, word on the street is that Van Halen will be involved in this year’s GRAMMYs–including possibly performing during the Nov. 30 GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! television special.
At least, that was until this week, when the rumor mill took a 180-degree turn, and word began spreading that Van Halen may not perform after all.
The band, consisting of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]David Lee Roth[/lastfm], Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen, were rumored to be attending or possibly PLAYING the November 30 GRAMMY Nominations Concert at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
The rumors started when the recording academy stated that a “special live announcement from a truly iconic group regarding their historic band reunion set to take place.”
This was followed by a tweet that fueled the fire even further.

However, Rolling Stone reported more recently that a GRAMMY Nominations performance on Nov. 30 is not in the cards.
As MAJOR Van Halen fans, we still hold out hope that the performance does indeed happen.
