The Muppets will be covering Nirvana‘s Smells Like Teen Spirit and Cee-Lo Green‘s Forget You in the upcoming muppet movie.  UltimateClassicRock.com reports Cee-Lo’s Forget You will be sung by Gonzo‘s favorite group Camilla and The Chickens, while Smells Like Teen Spirit will be getting a whole new sound from The Muppets Barbershop Quartet.  

There have been rumors former Nirvana member and current Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has a cameo in the film, so word of Smells Like Teen Spirit’s inclusion will further fuel those. Flight of the Conchords member Bret McKenzie wrote four original songs to be sung by film stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams and Chris Cooper. The Muppets is due in theatres November 23rd, and the soundtrack will be in stores two days earlier.
