The internet is a blaze with the anger of millions of cinema nuts in the wake of Netflix’s price increases for DVD rentals.
The popular rental and streaming service has increased their prices for people who wish to stream and rent DVDs by over 60%. If you are a frequent renter of physical DVDs this may be enough to make you switch to other services like Redbox. If you are a streamer, this isn’t as big of a deal, unless you want to check out new releases that are not usually available via streaming.
What are your thoughts? Is the increase unwarranted? Or is Netflix making this push so they can offer more titles via streaming?
