You saw [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Slash[/lastfm] at the Tacoma Dome with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Ozzy Osbourne [/lastfm]a couple of weeks ago. You were glued to the half time show during the Big Game. Now, you can own the former [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Guns N’ Roses [/lastfm]guitarist’s most prized possessions!
Slash is teaming up with a Beverly Hills Auction House to sell a wide range of his property to fans and collectors. From dinosaurs, skulls, and exotic Southeast Asian furniture to a 1966 Corvette Stingray, Slash has it all, and he’s ready to give it all away..that is for a price. Those who are thinking, “Wow, Slash must really be going through some tough times” you are wrong. He and his wife recently moved and decided it was the perfect time to empty the closets. A sizeable amount of all proceeds will be donated to a local charity for abused and homeless adolescents.
Other items we can expect to see at the auction: guitars, including a Guild acoustic on which he recorded the band’s early ballad “Patience”. Jackets, T-shirts, jewelery, two of his trademark top hats, and of course model dinosaurs for the kid in the house. The auction will take place on March 26th.
