Aerosmith "Putting Together Riffs, Having Fun, Laughing"
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Aerosmith[/lastfm] collaborator Marti Frederiksen told Billboard.com the band has been very productive during its first few days of working on a new album in California.
“It’s been really good, great” … “We’ve been playing songs, putting together riffs, having fun, laughing and working from noon to 11 (p.m.) We’re just digging in, man.”
The band put together four unfinished songs in the first three days of collaborating.
“We’re trying to move quick and not necessarily finish up songs and make them complete but just get a lot of stuff to choose from,” Frederiksen says.
Guitarist Joe Perry has not been present at the sessions due to another commitment.
In other news, Steven Tyler recently announced that Aerosmith will tour South America and Japan later this year.
