The Black Eyed Peas will be the featured halftime performer at the Super Bowl. The NFL decided not to go with a classic rock act like in previous years and instead they went for a band that’s more appealing to a younger audience (maybe because Brett Frave is not going to make it to that game?)The Grammy award-winning group will perform Feb. 6 at Cowboys Stadium. The announcement was made Thursday during the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the New Orleans Saints.
Hopefully the main act for people in Seattle won’t be The Black Eyed Peas but the Seahawks playing on that day!
The Black Eyes Peas have sold more than 28 million albums worldwide and more than 30.8 million digital tracks. They will release a brand-new album, entitled The Beginning, on November 30, 2010, on Interscope Records that includes the hit new single “The Time (Dirty Bit)”.
