On “Oprah” last month, J.K. Rowling hinted that she wouldn’t necessarily be against writing more “Harry Potter” books in the future. But it sounds like she’s had a change of heart.
Daniel Radcliffe himself delivered the news on Monday night on the red carpet of the U.S. premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1“ in New York City.
He said that Rowling sent him a text last week, pretty much letting him off the hook . . . quote, “Basically, it amounted to the fact that she felt I had been very good in this ‘Harry Potter’ film, and as a reward for that, she wasn’t going to [write] any more.”
He added, quote, “I’m sure she will be writing other books. But I can pretty much guarantee that Harry will not be a feature.”As for his feelings about being done with “Harry Potter“, he said, quote, “It’s sad, absolutely. But we’re going out on a high note.
