Reunited, and it Feels so Good

Did anyone make it to the Sound Garden show (Nude Dragons) on Friday night at the Show Box? 

If you were one of the lucky ones to get a ticket into the exclusive show then you know the crowd included some of the greatest of Seattle’s historic music scene: [lastfm]Mark Arm [/lastfm]and [lastfm]Matt Lukin [/lastfm]of [lastfm]Mudhoney[/lastfm], ex-[lastfm]Shins[/lastfm] member [lastfm]Dave Hernandez[/lastfm], [lastfm]Sub Pop [/lastfm]co-founder [lastfm]Jonathan Poneman[/lastfm], photographer Charles Peterson, [lastfm]Built to Spill [/lastfm]drummer [lastfm]Scott Plouf[/lastfm], and Exene Cervenka of Los Angeles punk legends X. 

The 100 minute set began at 10 PM as newly reunited [lastfm]Sound Garden [/lastfm]took the stage, including front man [lastfm]Chris Cornell[/lastfm],  Bassist [lastfm]Ben Shepherd[/lastfm], drummer [lastfm]Matt Cameron[/lastfm], and a grayer lead guitarist Kim Thayil. 

They opened with “Spoonman,” the song named after street performer Artie the Spoonman, who used to entertain at the nearby Pike Place Market and closed with “Waiting for the Sun”
