This is what 5700 screaming fans sound like…

The Rat City Rollergirls set a new record for attendance at a modern roller derby event this Saturday at Key Arena with a crowd of over 5700 people.

Grave Danger won the first bout, defeating DLF 179-58.  The second bout however, was much more closely contended.

The Sockit Wenches came from being 7 points down with 11 seconds left in regulation to defeat the Throttle Rockets by ONE POINT.  Final score was 125-124.
