THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL’S JOKE!

JACK Mullet Madness has been hacked! WTF?!? Really, this would be the ultimate punk, but unfortunately, we’re not messing around. An outside source has compromised the brackets and the voting process.

The JACK legal eagles have met, and determined the best course of action is to conduct a random drawing for the gently used 2008 Ford Mustang, with the original 64 Mullet Madness contestants. Hey, no one can ruin all our fun, so we’re throwing a JACK Madness party Saturday, April 3 at Hooters at South Park for all contestants and you! The party starts at 5pm, and we’ll find out which mullet head wins the 2008 Ford Mustang during the drawing at 6:45pm. Plus, not only can you also watch the championship games, we’re giving away prizes every 10 minutes !

It’s unfortunate that someone’s friends or fans chose to cheat instead of watching this unfold the real way. I have a friend that was in the top 2 and he was lucky enough to have friends, Facebook, texts and an entire bar behind him. We asked for help and got it. He lives and breathes the mullet and did this contest because it is just plain HIM. Shame on the hackers for ruining his chances! Use your computer skills for something useful, like solving the economic crisis!

What a mess!!! A random drawing of all 64 contestants is not a very well thought out plan to make it up to the contests that made it as far as they did. It sounds like a easy way to end this convoluted contest. The finalists deserve some decent outcome
to a contest that was suppose to be fun for contestants and their fans. ” MAKE IT RIGHT”

Def agree!!! One of the people behind this could be doing something to make it right.. make it FAIR for the people who DID NOT cheat! It all sounded to good to be true anyway!

I think that there should be a random drawing of real mullets, not folks in wigs. ADC- I have been wondering about your friend in the final two. He was great competition for my sister with the skullet (who he eliminate in the sweet 16). What does he do? I live in Ohio, and have no way to meet him- there is tons of conjecture in our network- and we are intrigued to find out more about him.

I agree. There should be a random drawing from the final 4. Its unfair to revert back to the original 64. Why even have the entire bracket to begin with if you were just going to pull the rug out at the end and throw everyone back into “the dance”?

First of all if this Guitar boy has the ability to hack the Jacks website, I’m sure he would of been a lot smarter than loosing then re-appearing why do that when you could just type in a few codes and have every vote/ every other vote go to his name. So maybe the hacker thought to exploit someone else to save their own ass and not draw attention to themselves!!!! I mean not all Americans are dumb!!!

I’m so confused about this whole thing. If this “Hacked” thing was legit then why aren’t we getting details about who and when things went wrong.This was something fun for all. Something that a lot of people could get behind and cheer someone on to a victory. Someone pulled the rug and just like everything else, we are just supposed to take it. I think someone should “Get Jessie” or something.

I am a friend of the kid with the guitar…. He had no idea how he could have hacked through the voting. He just voted at every computer that he could. he is apart of a university and used other computers within the university to vote. Obviously the votes didnt go through until that time the next day Jack should re draw for the final four or even the final two they are the ones who earned it the most.

I will never listen to JACK(ed) FM again. Your system was flawed and now you have to try and pin it on someone. Pick the youngest guy! That’s BS! He just networked like hell and made it happen. I was rootin’ for him and probably had over 500 friends and family of my own voting for him. Not to mention al of them who did the same. Completely Jacked and I’ll never listen to 96.5 again and I will definitely pass this along to everyone I know.
